I havent played bg2 in a while because of other worlds of fantasy(star wars lotr) but now that im back i loaded got my save game and im in the maze after the azylum. For some reason i dont have a stake to kill dace with, and i know (since ive beaten the game quite a few times) that i need his hand to move on. I was wondering if there is one around or if i have to use the cluaconsole to get a stake. Oh and while im posting does anyone have some portraits of lotr people? Or their sounds?

There's definetly a stake there because I didn't have any when I went there. If I remember correctly it's on some kobolds so search the area thoroughly sorry it's been a while since I played that part of the game so I can't remember exactly were it is maybe someone else can tell you.

Yup what da'ain said. I had the same problem too and I searched forever and ever but I found it!!! Before I know it I beaten the game!
