If anyone has tried W2K for playing Baldur's Gate, or any Black Isle game, I would love to hear how well it plays. Is there a performance hit, does it crash?

I think it's ok except for multi player games. Then there is some problems because of the ports used......could be wrong here but the m/p link up prob's I had were apparently due to this.

I run W2k with BG and BGII and both run perfect, I havn't tried multiplayer yet though. Single player works just as good as Win98, it hasn't crashed once.
Goodluck, W2k is a far better OS than Win98. I highly recommend using W2k. ------------------ One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the Darkness bind them. -The Lord of the Rings |
