The barbarian because he has massive hit points, and faster movement.

Err Wilbur you missed a few points but here they are

- Barbarians cant put more than 2 slots in a weapon proficiency
- Barbarians are immune to backstab
- Barbarians have a better form of beserk, barbarian rage
- They cant wear plate mail/full plate mail

And generally i think that barbarians are one of those classes which take a bit of knowledge to play, not that easy, you have to plan a lot in advance and get some good gear too since they have pathetic AC.

Why I like the Berserker best:

-Enrage is better then the Barbarian rage
-Berserker is a better swordsman, all in all
-Can be grand master in weapons, unlike the Barbarian who only can be proficient
-Can wear heavy armours, unlike the Barbarian

Yes I agree beserkers are an excellent class, pick them. I played one and he rocked. There rage as mentioned is better than a barbarians because when a beserker rages they lose two AC points(good) while when a barbarian rages there AC goes up by two so yeah pick a beserker.

DON'T forget the Barbarian's physical resistances. And there's also the fact that Berserkers can Dual, Barbarians can't.

Barbarian Rage does not protect from Imprisonment, and while a Berserker's Rage will protect you from Level Drain, that's actually a bug. (Was it fixed by a Baldurdash Fixpack?)
