At fileplanet.com (crap-wait-in-line-corperate-loser-site) you can download the DDO stresstest/beta and play DDO online NOW.

The downside for many is the download for the highres is it's 2.2GIG to d/l.
I am leeching it now.. should be done in an hr or so.

Anyone else playing? list yer names!

Dling it now (and at 255kbps). What is the difference between the 2? Simple resolution or is there more?

Umm it says you need a key and I can't sign up as its only open to North American Residents. Plus the signup is closed.

Everybody gets a Key if you pre-order the game.
But as T-D-C said I believe it may only be for
The North American Residents at this time.
Unless you have High speed cable or T-1
connection because, there were a few guys from
Australia playing the Beta.

You could prolly enter an american address unless it restricts you some other way...this is only a trial I mean. Man, glad I got to signup early, thanks Ziroc!

I actually got a key and downloaded the client, but I was absorbed in a novel and didn't try the preview. Is it over yet?

How is everyone's system performance holding up? I'm getting like a freezing every so often, like a memory buffer lag or something and I'm not sure whether it is weather effects or textures. I am suspicious of a memory leak since I have 1 gig of ram and this only happens after im in-game for 30+ mins. Ahh well, it is only aoccasional and I like what I have seen so far.

The pre View is TWO WEEKS long as far as I know
or lasts until the day after the game goes live
on line but I could be wrong.
