Anything but a plain fighter in vanilla SOA...
With The Darkest Day installed (it adds new classes  ), all of the vanilla kits (bar fighter, ofcourse); plus the Ninja, the Samurai (sp ??), and the new priest kits [img]smile.gif[/img]

been a fighter, a palladin, a mage, a monk but i think the best is the archer. period

It´s fun to try diferent stuff but at the end of the day, nothing beats a fighter with mastery in dual katanas. Sorcerers are kinda fun, but your still in the backround all the time. Besides, paladins are such basterds and monks ar to damn ugly.

Monk, sorceror and pure half orc fighter with 4 points in 2 handed sword, 3 points in 2 handed weapon, 19 str, 18 dex, 19 con and minimal everything else
In that order. The fighter was only fun for about 30 mins though.

A pure mage is quite fun, as is a stalker, assassin, archer and skald. Those are my favourite classes.

The first time i finished SoA, it was as a vampireslayer. That lived quite up to my expectations.

ARCANE RULES ALL KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!! I obviously played a Sorceror. I never tried other Fighter classes but I am still going to try them but i still beilieve Knowledge is power! One powerful mage can take down one party!

It all depends on my mood, the type of party I want to have (if any) and my char's alignment... though I'm almost always some type of spellcaster.
