I really get disappointed with the lack of info getting pumped into this forum.. especially with the release of Guild Wars.

I would have thought that such a cool game would have been a rather large talking point for many people. I myself have fallen in love with the game, and find myself thinking about it FAAAAAAAR too much when at work.

I know, I am sad. It's a good thing the bf likes it too, or I may not have one. Ha.

Anyways, why is it that people just don't seem as interested in this highly enjoyable game, as opposed to Neverwinter Nights or something?

Just confused.

Yeah, looks like we may close the forum and move all posts to Misc Gaming if it doesn't pick up..

The thing with MMO's is that they burn all their fuel fast. Basically, people start to lose interest after 6 months or so of the same, repetiveness. Thats why the companies have to feed the flame with knew expansions and stuff.

Basically, I think either people in this forum are A) Having too much fun to post or B) lost total interest (such as me and WoW).

When the expansions are announced/releasd though, I could expect a dramatic post increase.

I don't think its dead. There are a few posts in here about Guildwars but no one has posted about WoW in ages because there are no new updates.

I was hoping to use this aprt of the forum as a base for the IW guild to post.

I suspect Secret Master is right- people are playing! LOL That and if there's nothing new to discuss then they don't have anything to bring up.

Hopefully the IW guild will get going and new expansions or games will come up for people.

Heh, I think he's right about both of his hypotheses. Lots of people are playing I think. Lots of people totally lost interest too

I'm probably done with MMORPGs until I find GW in a bargain bin, successfully download Rubies of Eventide on my 56k, or they let you play as goblins in WoW.

That is, until D&D Online comes out. I'm on board for that.
