Boots of Speed

I was wondering if anyone can please tell me where all of the boots of speeds are. I know for a fact there's at least 4 (maybe 5 but not sure) in SOA, and I already have 2 of them (one from the planer prison, the other from spellhold). Any help would be most welcomed.

... unless you have picked up a Mod somewhere which gives you more...

From what I remember you can make a pair using 15 mithril tokens in Bohdi's gauntlent and I think there's a pair on one of the guards in the Planar Prison.

Actually, you can in fact get 3 pairs in SoA without cheating or MODs, but you have to take on Arkanis Gath (in his nastiest form) to do so. Still, well worth it. And I believe there's another 3 pairs in ToB, making for one really zippy party.

With ToB installed, you can get a lot of pairs.

You must be able to get some in Watchers keep 'cause my first time throguh I had a party of 6 and only one of them didn't have boots of speed. [img]smile.gif[/img]

A foul solution of possible game problems in the Docks.
Unless you side with Bodhi or unless you are told to do so explicitely, you must not:
1. Attack any non hostile Shadow Thief in the Docks.
2. Steal in a thieves shop there and be caught.
In both cases, Arkanis Gath appears and KILLS your entire party. Abilities of Arkanis Gath:
1. He cannot be killed because he has a "1 HP" item.
2. He kills with every successful blow no matter how many HP has his target. In fact, Arkanis Gath is cheating: the text window says that "Xxx was hit for 9 HP" but - Xxx is dead even if Xxx had 140 HP before the attack.
Arkanis Gath is here to prevent you from clobbering the storyline. Unless you side with Bodhi, the thieves are supposed to interact with you later in the game, therefore, you are prevented from turning them hostile by means of Arkanis Gath.
Notes:
1. If you side with Bodhi then one of your first meeting will be with Arkanis Gath - but now, AG is a normal opponent that can be killed and that does not have the instant kill ability.
2. AG can be killed by a high level sorceror or a high level mage. He is not immune to death caused by 0 INT. Therefore, shapeshift to Mind Flayer (level 9 spell) and drain his INT.

To clarify:
With SoA, you can get two pairs (Astral Prison, Token Machine),
With ToB, you can get two new pairs (Lazarus Librarus, Tavern in Saradush).
