I'm sitting here in a 1/2 dark building with no running water

and I'm at work.

We don't have enough power to turn the lights on or get running water but we sure have enough to power the thousands of PCs we have on currently. . .

Some employers are just nuts! So sorry, hun. *big hugs* Hang in there. It won't last forever, and today is Friday. (I am assuming of course that you don't work on the weekends. I may be wrong.)

Why are you in those conditions? I guess a 1/2 dark building is better than a 1/2 light building. Since it's dark is it denser?
No running water? Where are you? Even the natives have running water!
After 4-5 days of no running water, and washing your body from a canteen cup from which you also share for shaving and coffee, then you will come close to feeling the price of freedom.

Yup, good old Cleveland. whats really funny is how last night when the power came back on here, every single light in our entire company was lit up. They have lights along the driveway about every 5 feet and every single one of them was going full blast, it was like christmas in august. Now today they "need to conserve" on power so we have to sit in a dimly lit building. I have no idea why the water supposedly isn't working. Actually one light in every 3 is on here so I guess I'm in a 2/3 dark building. Outside those lights along the drive are still going. The irony of it all just slays me.
