Just heard this on the news...it's true. No joke

A woman (mother) was fined about $100 in , I believe in Germany. What was her crime? It seems her child refused to open up for the school dentist and he reported her. And under EU rules the mother was fined. Do they also tell you how much tp to use and which way to wipe? But in the long run you deserve it, you voted them in. Oh don't worry, we have our jack-booted thugs here too.

Of course ..no offense this is just one of many odd ball stories about the EU interfering in everyones daily life. Like the thing about the height of a kids swing above the ground.

Nah, I think this was a badly disguised attack on the EU-regulations from Arvon's side. I agree that these regulations are rather weird and I actually have my doubts whether it's really true or not, but at least we're not talking millions of dollar-fines for silly things like in that other country. We voted them in ? Well... that's a new one. If we really had the chance to vote, there wouldn't be a EU today.
