About the weapon slots of kensai/thief

Hi!
I was wondering. Cause im playing a kensai now, and i think im going to dual-class him to a thief.So if i put 3 slots to katanas and then i dual class him and put 1 slot to katanas while im a thief, do i then have 4 slots in katanas,or what?
And can he then wear gauntlets and armours?

If I recall correctly, you will end up only having *** in Katanas when your Kensai class reactivates.

A Kensai->Thief can only wear Helmets, Gauntlets and Armour if you have ToB installed, and choose the Thief High Level Ability, Use Any Item.
