Who is Umar? Where do you find her? What is the plot? Spoil me!
I always thought that Umar was just some myth, some imaginary thing, like the Blair Witch Progect. But one day I was fooling around with CLUA console and wanted to create Rumar, the funny dude in the Copper Coronet. I typed in CLUAConsole  "Rumar01") and it created a woman named Umar! She says, " You foiled my plan! I used the Umar cover-up to scare the people, and this whole place could have been mine!" or something like that. Then she goes hostile, and she is easy to beat. Did I miss something? I thought the only way to (spoiler) solve the quest is to get the ogres to protect the city and to go into the Temple Ruins and kill the Shade Lord. Hmm...

Sounds like this quest was re-designed at some point,with an acutal Umar Witch being present, but being dropped later.

If you are a ranger you meet an IMPOSTER called Umar, a mage pretending to be said witch, as your last ranger-stronghold quest. After you kill her a nymph gives you Cerebus, a handy figuirine for low levels.

Ya, kaltia is right, you only meet "Umar" if your a ranger doing the ranger stronghold quests. but willard, u dont HAVE to have malduf protect the village to beat the quest, though u get mroe exp for helping them out [img]smile.gif[/img]

You... do need Malduf though, if you want an uneventful Ranger Stronghold quest sequence.
