I use to not be able to stand cats. They grated on my nevers so much. I even started a thread here (and people jumped down my throat, for reason that are still unknown to me) about me disliking them.

But...I think I have actually changed my mind a bit about them.

We had two cats that we got when they were just wee kittens, one male one female. I really liked the male cat. He was the cooles feline I had ever seenin my entire life. He was a large cat and he had this expression on his face that was just halrious. And the way he sit sometime, LOL. He was a bob tale, so he just sit flat on his butt, legs out straight. And he would just sit there and look at you, it was great.

Unfourtently he was a tom cat, so his wanderlust came about and started to wonder around, and hasnt returned yet

Thats what kind of turned the tide. We still have the female cat, that is really just the oposite of him. Shes friendly, playfull, nice, sweet. She is kind of starting to grow on me.

At the moment we have 2 cats, one is my loyal white (dumb as a rock) himalayan.
And my dads ugly long skinny Siamese cross Bermese.

bow to the cat goddess
I have about 3 main ones that are in my heart and I'll miss terribly if something happen to them:

Tammi: she's the kitten I saved from colic (me thinks from eating rotten meat that her adoptive mom brought back) and now she's the queen of the household.
Barney: weak, ugly, scrawny mucus-eyed male kitten that never got adopted had grown into a peaceful handsome lion who kneeds on my pillow. He's also the 'uncle' or 'big brother' of the new arrivals.
and
Pearl: Tammi's daughter, who mothers every cat in the household. grooms everyone but herself.

more scruffy than dirty... and 'reluctant' to accept baths. I had to brush her every day or she'll shed all over the house if I don't.
