I was checking out Adrenaline vault for the latest shareware demos and stuff and an article caught my eye. It was a preview for a new game called BMXXX and I like my Skateboarding and BMX type games so I clicked to check it out.

Turns out it's a BMX game alright but the main attraction seems to be the scantily clad, semi-naked babes that are riding the bikes!
Now I don't mind admitting that I like a perv as much as the next guy but does this strike anyone else as being utterly pathetic?
BMX XXX is action packed and jammed full of adult humour, crazy challenges and risqué content. You'll hear and see things that will have you crying with laughter and calling your friends. BMX XXX is no holds barred and will live up to its high age rating. The challenges are some of the most bizarre you will ever see and the characters (and their language) are as colourful as they come. Where else will a game challenge you to get a bitch from a pimp? Where else will you find a game with the official licence for Scores, an American-based chain of lap dancing clubs?
I don't mind games like GTA3 where the content is as risque or even more so but only if it's in context with the game. Maybe I'm over the top with my assumptions, what d'ya think?

LOL Downunda! Not a game I would buy. But I guess some teenage boys will go for it. Seems like a very pathetic attempt to increase sales...

But if it's aimed at teenage boys, why go to such extremes as to get it cassified with an "R" rating?

I know that sex sells and this is not the first game to include semi-naked woman but uhhh... let the pic speak for itself...

ED-- yes.

I understand that this is a family forum and if anyone would like me to remove the pic, just say so

It´s R rated? Really R rated through government? A computer game? Do you have a link to an official site? I´d really like to email the creators and ask them who their presumptive buyers are lol. And downunda your not joking with me are you lol? I guess I´ll have to check the hubby´s game rack more often now though

Read the article. I also found the official site. Here´s what they say about the game (some of it anyways)
Quote:
Interacting with hot chicks, shady characters and other players in the most outrageous and humorous action sports game ever, as scripted by some of Hollywood's top comedic writers
The site is here

Oooh and I like this one
Quote:
All-new female riders, each with realistic physics for their hair, body and clothes
Yes all women wear bikini when cycling (or we´re topless of course )

Yep, Think I'll stick to the regular Dave Mirra and Tony Hawk games but each to their own

This type of CRAP is why the damn government is on the Gaming communities ass in the first place. And THIS shovelware is just fuel for the fire.

I am EXTREMELY shocked that Acclaim would release something such as this.

Look, they even 'show it off' on their front page as if they are PROUD of it!?! lol.... sad.
