Does anyone else get the feeling that something big is going to happen soon?

Is it just me, or is the whole world going insane, and collapsing in on itself. September 11 was always going to change things forever, but there are other things going down that have got me thinking.

Maybe I'm just paying more attention to the media, but there seems to be more death, suffering, and outright insanity going on than I can remember.

I worry about future generations (ie. my kids). Sorry if I'm being overly dramatic, but I can't help feeling that the next year or so is going to be extremely historic!

the nexy year ben? I think it will prob be in the next 5 to 10 years... and we'll see a total change of goverment etc. stuff like minorty report, (I dont mean the future crap, I mean retinal scanners, that kinda thing).

well.. iraq will fix up soon (one way or other)

it is only time before israel/palestine starts again. its gonna have to swing one way or other.. i think time for compromises is past... my view is that palestine should to some degree have their own state...

I NEVER watch the news. All it does is make me depressed. They only show the bad stuff like car crashes and deaths but every few weeks or so they might slip in a story about a cat being saved from a tree but other then that it is only depressing. DONT WATCH THE NEWS PEOPLE!!! IT IS ONLY THERE TO MAKE YOU FEEL SAD! ... Thats all I wanted to say...

I guess I really don't have enough knowledge of these issues to come to conclusions about who should do this and who should do that. I am in the unfortunate position to have to trust the people in command to make the correct decisions.

Everybody seems to have their own opinion on who the sniper is, who bombed Bali, and whether Iraq should be attacked, but really, do any of us have any idea at all? We get fed what the media wants us to know, and maybe we're not as smart as we think we are.

Maybe we need the Earth to be attacked by extraterrestrials (ID4 style), so that we're all forced to join together in unity.

I think even if that did happen there would still probably be problems. Mabe only small problems like Australians calling New Zealanders "Sheep Lovers" but still problems
