Anybody played this yet? My cpu died *again* and I haven't had anything else to do but to play this game. The levels have walls now, but it's really not that big of a deal if you play the larger levels. Smaller places get on my nerves. The new characters are pretty cool, although Christie is Eddy Gordo with a couple more moves. Didn't like Eddy don't like Christie much either. Steve seems cool, and never really used Craig yet.
It's the old characters that got improved really. Everyone got something new, regardless of who they were, and some lost a few old moves. Or next to all of em. *cough* Jin *cough* Jin still rocks btw, you'll just have to learn a whole slew of new attacks. I don't think he's quite as powerful as before though, but pretty close. ![]() Overall I like this game a lot better than Virtua Fighter 4. It doesn't have a kumite mode, and I can't train my ai, but I hated Virtua Fighter 4 so much I don't care lol. ![]()

What's so bad about Virtua Fighter 4? I have it, and love it! It's great!

yes, sega games mainly only appeal to sega players + VF 4 was intneded for the dreamcast and never came about *Growls* >_<
As far as fighting games are concerned, i don't think you can beat Marvel Vs Capcom 2 and Capcom Vs SNK 2 but that's just 2-dLovin' me... "MAIDEN MASHER!" *kick punch punch kick kick punch punch kick uppercut uppercu kick slam low kick *GRAB* "WANININO KINO! SHEEII!" *throws person on ground and looks like he's doing CPR to their chest* *blam blam blam blam explsion* *LIFTS ARMS way BACK and up* "UEEEEIIIRRRAAAH!" *SLAMS hands down and makes yet another purple fiery explosion* "Tsuniwa Mateoka..." *runs hand through hair and eyes roll back into head* "ha... haha... HAHAHA... MUWAHAHHA! AAAHAHHAHAHAHA!!" *Round 2 Fight!*

I like 2d fighters better too, but 3d fighters are cool. My fav 3d fighters are the Tekken series.
Tekken 4 is a great game, but I personally prefer Tekken Tag Tournament. The enlosed areas in Tekken 4 stops the flow of the fight, and the fighting style has been changed. In TTT, you could have continuous, flowing combos going on, but this has been eliminated in Tekken 4 by the aforementioned enclosed spaces and also because the game doesn't seem to support such long, rewarding combos anymore. In fact, the fighting style in Tekken 4 is more poke and prod, poke and prod, until your opponent forgets to block and you get a hit in. TTT is also much faster than Tekken 4, and the fact that you control two players makes for much longer matches. I still enjoy Tekken 4 (Paul Phoenix will always be a legend, as will King.) It is just very different to the previous Tekkens. |

I outplayed Tekken 4 while it was in the Arcade, so I might just rent it, anyway Tekken 3 is still the best While we're talking about fighters... who has played Soul Calibur 2 in the arcade? That game kicks so much ass. and Soul Calibur for the Dreamcast was another awesome fighting game... Viva La DREAMCAST!!
