I know how it feels, Hiram.
I got fired from my job of six years on Valentine's Day this year and was out of work for three months. But now, even though I don't make as much money, I enjoy my job now MUCH more than I did the last two years at my old job. Money's a bit tighter, but I survive. Life gives you moments like this to shake you up and make sure you are still paying attention....dammit.... Just hang in there. Maybe this is an opportunity for you to do something you've always wanted to do. Just keep an open mind and check out every opportunity. *hugs* I'm here for ya.
