Could a french speaker spare a moment?

I was wondering, in out multi-lingual little community, if there was anyone present would would spare a few moments to help me out with a few French words. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I know what you're thinking: "use a translator", but quite frankly I trust those tings as far as I can throw them (bad experiences with essays.

).

All i'm wanting is the French words for: "love", "jealousy", "happiness" and "tragedy", for reasons I won't explain just yet.

Also, if anyone could confirm the "Candide" translates to "Optimism", or indeed what it does translate to, i'd also be much obliged.

l'amour
la jalousie
la joie (that's more like joy though, not happiness... maybe être de bonheur? or is that more like being lucky?)
