okay should I put a forum up on my website ( www.skullsonfire.cjb.net )?
I have been toying with the idea for quite some time now, but am not sure if I could manage it with my busy life. of course this means I would need moderators aswell. If I were to make a forum, it would be some time before it would be up and running.
Also if i did decide to put one up, would anyone here become a member?

I think Deathbringer you would need to think long and hard on this one. Already you are aware that it is going to take some serious time day in and day out. Secondly, there are a lot of forums out there with IW being one of the best. The question is this: What would be new and different about your forum? I think in today's bloated forums a fresh persepective/gimmick (for a lack of a better word) is needed. I think the one thing that everyone really likes about IW is the friendly community so that even Newbies (I always hated that term)are fully embraced. I am sure you are thinking a lot about the structure of your forum. So maybe yopu can give us some of the ideas that are floating around in your head.

Well give me some ideas then.
I have been thinking long and hard about it, but if I ask people here what they really want in a forum, then that would give me an edge and attract potential members

Maybe you could use your outstanding art effects to make your potential forum cool.... and make all of the cool images be shown as 'X' if you are not a member! Heh heh... wait, actually that's not a good idea...

If you want to make a forum, I can`t see why anyone would have a problem with that
Only thing is, with the number of forums there are already, ten members could very well be a celebration...

ROTFL! *picks self up*

That's just too true, Lennnon! I'm at a few other boards but hardly participate in them. One supposedly has over 180 members but when you cut out the 90+ that never even posted ONCE and the other 30+ who posted about 10 times or less in 3 or 4 months, and the rest who rarely post or only sporadically, you end up with about a half dozen people who post regularly and a few of them seem to only talk to each other, leaving it looking a bit sad.

I tend to hang out at IW most of my free time for being on a msg board these days. I haven't found a board that's better run or friendlier any place. Plus the tips on the games are fantastic!
