Emotionally involved in a game ?

I just posted this to know if anyone over here has ever become emotionally involved in a game or if a game really affected his/her life and you know that kinda stuff, cause ive had my share while playing quite a few games. And if such a thing has happened do share with the rest of us.

That depends on what you mean by emotionaly envovled. Ive kicked a wall out of anger when my entire party died in BG2 and then cried because it hurt

. I only really get 'emotionaly envolved' with TV [img]smile.gif[/img] . I remember 2 years ago i was watching DragonBall Z, and when Frieza killed Vegeta on Namek i started bawling. Hey gimme a break, Im a girl and hes my favorite character

Yup thats what i mean, like getting angry or sad if something wrong happens or happy when thigs go right in the game. The only time i got "involved" in TV was while watching the last scene in a movie when the girls desperate lover was dying at her doorstep but his husband wouldnt let her see her dying love. It was sad, even though im not ........

LOL I dont knove how many times i have crushed the keyboard so all the knotes fly sky high that happend when i played Diablo II and Might and Magic 7 lol but i have now learn to behave i little more i think...when i play games!!

Yea, I Have, I Mean, I Always Get Stressed And Hit Things (Or People [img]tongue.gif[/img] ) But The Only Games I Have Ever Really Got Very Emotionally Involved With, Are The Final Fantasy Series. I Think The Amazing Graphics And Great Storylines Play On Peoples Emotions Alot..

No, a game is just a game, no matter how much i enjoy playing some games. If sometimes things don't go as i want, i just quit playing and try again the next day.

Does being impressed and feeling overwhelmed by the brilliance of the storyline of a game count? In that case I wish to nominate Planescape: Torment; I've yet to play a game with a storyline even half as good as it was in PS:T.

I get frustrated with game bugs sometimes - I just walk round the room and do some katas to calm down
