How do you become Moderators

Is not that i want to become one, cuz i haven't time, but how Memnoch, Sazerac and Mouse became one? Are they that friend of Ziroc or it's confiance???

As far as I remember they just emailed Ziroc every day until he agreed to let them become moderators.

It's the same if you want a customised avatar or a special title.
