Time march 24 Ed a synopsis and french opposition

What was covered in time magazine march 24 is that the french are also opposing the US foreign policy on nearly every level, and also that they are trying to get france back to it's old colonial power. I quote ".. Have provided France with an opportunity for a grand stroke to break the american power monopoly"

What the french government also fails to mention is that the french for a number of years now have a large oil contract with Iraq and that the Iraqi's have a debt that is still unpaid to France (from commercial aircraft, automobiles etc)

In all, what the article essentialy says is that the french are trying to break a US power monopoly that is essentially correcting the cowardice and impotence that was done in the 80's, namely the support of Terriosm, both in the UN, the US, and most of Europe.

What i am not saying is that might makes right in the way that the US should liquidate any and all countries it does not like, but ones that present a threat to the world. Saddamn Hussein and the Taliban have proven to be dangerous, and thus must be disposed of. China and France should not be eliminated but instead taken into consideration.

As for the policy of non violence, it simply fails. We did not win WW2 by asking Hitler not to take over Europe, instead we sent our young men and women (WAC,nurses etc) to fight him. The same with Korea. The same with the original gulf war. Rwanda was a failure because the UN refused to take THE PROPER ACTION by sending in warstoppers to engage in VIOLENT acts that would have saved thousands of lives. Non violence and an unwillingness to fight also cost Somalia millions of lives when the clinton adminstration refused to send in hevy assualt vehicles such as the apache and tanks.

Violence is the last option, and it should be persued completely, to the Annihilation of enemies, not like the Previous gulf war.
