Ummm, isn't this against the Geneva Convention or something? (Not that the the "rules of war" have ever stopped Saddam from doing what he wants).

Highly probable. Saddam is willing to sacrifice the entire Iraqi population in order to stay in power.
I've always wanted what it would feel like to mow down a bunch of children with automatic fire, even if they were armed and hostile. [ 03-18-2003, 03:15 AM: Message edited by: Indemaijinj ]

International rules don't seem to be stopping Bush or Blair if it comes down to that (ie the United Nations).

Ya know...I was going to reply to you, Desdicado, but Night Stalker and Ronn seem to have handled it just fine. This nutbar has WoMD, is willing to use them, and is now(possibly) arming CHILDREN! Can there possibly be a more clear message that he needs to be removed from power(and the gene pool)?!?!?
Back on topic: While I cant say that I'm in the least bit surprised, I am sickened! Do you think that NOW people will finally begin to understand WHY this FREAKING PSYCHO!!! must be removed from power?!?!?!?!?!? It doesn't matter ONE BIT whether the war is right or justified when it is put in THIS light. Just the simple fact that this madman would be willing to use CHILDREN as soldiers declares him insane, maniacal, and completely unfit to rule his own bedroom, much less an entire country! Remove him, swiftly, and soon! Oh, and to the point of the topic...Sad as I find it to say this, I dont think that having to face children with weapons will actually stop American soldiers. It's happened before(remember Mogadishu?), and will probably happen again. Like I've said before, all the little petty things get stripped away very quickly when you're being shot at. Soldiers are trained to kill, it's what they do. And if the shooter is a man, woman, or child, they're still trained to shoot back. The hellish part comes afterwards, when they have to deal with the psycholigical fallout of the experience. But, in the action itself, if Saddam forces children into the front lines, it's my opinion that those children will probably die. That saddens and sickens me, but it's true nonetheless. And it's ENTIRELY Saddam's fault, and that's EXACTLY why the SOB should be put down like the mad dog that he is!
