I'm talking about the grandson of English PM Winston Churchill. Apparently Winston the third served in Parliment for 27 years. I saw him interviewed yesterday, and I wondered how he is thought of in England today? How was he thought of when he was in Parliment?

I ask because he was very pro-action in Iraq and stated that a recent survey in England showed nearly 50% of the public in favor of action in Iraq even without another resolution. He said the number went to 65% favoring action with another resolution.

That doesn't match up with what I hear here, and the polls I've seen online, so I wondered if he's a respectible guy or a crackpot.

Ronn, he's a very minor figure, the sort they seek out because of his name for views on important topics when no one at the top will give an opinion to the media

I didn't know the polls were so in favour...that goes against some polls I've seen lately

That's more in line with what I've seen, too.

I blame Britain for everything

Just kidding... my sister said her vacation in England's North Country was the best day's of her life. That was just last month. I plan on making a trip myself.
