OK, they were empty but apparently they shouldn't have been there.
Could it be a plant, is it the real Mcoy? I'm just asking, I don't know. The timing seems perfect.

Oops again.

Surely you don't think that the UN Inspectors are in on some nefarious plot? If they were, wouldn't it be something truly damning that they found?

So much for consideation he could have earned doing something he could have done already. Why do you guys object to the removal of one of the cruellest, vicious dictators in the world, today?

Agreed.
Where did the war on terrorism turn into an individual war against Iraq? I personally can't think of any single country that has been subject to such scrutiny. The US/UN didn't walk away in the nineties, the sattelites etc are still doing their jobs.

That said my knowledge is limited, maybe Iraq really is plotting, planning and building....I don't know.

Well, we haven't stopped chasing the remnants of Al-Quaeda. You may recall that the CIA took out one of its high-level commanders with a Hellfire in Yemen. Iraq is being singled out because they invaded Kuwait, caused the Gulf War, and were badly beaten. They signed treaties to eschew certain weapons and allow UN inspection. Subsequently, they threw the Inspectors out and defied us to get them back in. They remain in material violation of several UN sanctions, and I hope that they get what they deserve.

Well they invaded Kuwait in the early nineties. 9:11 was 2001 and unrelated. Inspectors were allowed until they wanted access to personal palaces. If someone wanted access to the Queen of Englands bedroom, her Maj would politely say "f**k orrfff", as did Saddam.

I'm not saying it's right or wrong, just seems like the goalposts get moved sometimes.

Is Iraq truly a threat to the West, is it all about middle eastern policy, is it about oil?....I don't know.

I know that I don't want innocents to die, neither on their side nor mine.....all men are brothers.

(EDIT) 2002 to 2001, time flies.

He knows he's done for. He's had his time and is trying to save his arse.
I don't know if what you say is right but I hope bloodshed can be avoided.
