Are we able to initiate petitions here to ask for an individual to become a moderator?

If so, I would like to propose DONUT (son of Donut).

He has been around a long time, has family on the forum, is very intelligent, humorous and witty and most importantly, has a good sense of fair play and justice. He is also a well balanced, reasonable person.

Therefore he has respect, maturity and brains.

He would be a moderating influence of moderation.

Any others agree? Please sign the petition below,

Moderators are chosen by Ziroc.

If you wish for someone to become a moderator he is the one to ask. Once again Yorick this would better serve you via PM.

Screw appointing new moderators. And screw moderators who read the TOS too broadly. And, screw anyone who deleted or edited my posts. And, yes, TDC, this means you -- screw you if it was you.

Well said Timber. Justifiable anger.

Deleting someone elses post is the biggest breach of forum ettiquette there is. It is an insult to the time, care, thought and ideas we bother sharing here.

TDC, your arrival date shows Oct 2003. My entry on this brown board is Jan 2001. Before that I was on the blue board. I am more than familiar with certain processes, and don't need to be reminded of the obvious every time I make a point. Thanks.

For what it's worth my PMs don't get answered, so you may as well be telling me to keep my trap shut and just deal with it.

I think my entry is sometime during 2002. Maybe some of us remember the breadth of our discussion then. Maybe some of us remember the levity we were given to discuss things as adults at that time. Maybe we wish those rules still existed. Maybe we are saddened that such openness was cast aside. Maybe we disagree that the "religion ban" was broad enough to cover same.

Maybe we believe that the moderator(s) is/are exercising too much of their own political views.

Maybe we wish that the mods were as openminded as they formerly were.

Maybe we wish we could still discuss world conditions without recourse, amongst ourselves.

Maybe we feel we were better off when we were basically self-moderated.

Of course, maybe many people's sensitivities were "heightened" following the election.

Of course, maybe we ought be able to say "Screw You" to those people, and allow them to respond similarly.

All of which would be allowed without censorship.

Screw censorship, wherever it comes from.

And this is coming from a guy who says "Screw Yorick" first and foremost.

Interesting allies are made from conflict, right, Egg-Man?

Lol!!! When you registered is irrelevant, Yorick. That's a lame argument.

And Timber, how many times have we suspended you? Don't you think this is your last strike too? TDC is an AWESOME Mod, and busts his ASS for this forum and our NWN mod. I think he's great for IW!

Your account is now suspended indefinitely too Timber. How many suspensions before you get it through your head, rules are made for a reason, dude.
