Twisted Rune(possible spoilers in answers)

Ok, so I read alot of people post stuff about this "Twisted Rune Quest". What is this quest and where do you pick it up? I never encountered it, in my time. I would be thankful of any help.

Oook.... well you need a rogue stone for a start

and the door next to one of Kangaxx's Tombs in the bridge district, the on were it says there is a strange darkness... if you have a rogue stone in you inventory when you click on the darkness it pulls you into it

In fact, it is not a quest. You need not get it from anybody. The only thing you need is the Rogue Stone in your inventory. Click the correct door.
But be careful. You cannot flee once you enter Twisted Rune. The only way out is through killing all monsters there. And the monsters are strong! A lich, an elder orb, a vampire draining 4 levels per hit, and a mage casting Time Stop and Gate to name some of them. Make a special save before you enter.

Actually Shangalar gives you the option to leave at the very start [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Yes, but can you actually really leave the Twisted Rune then? I thought he meant it more or less in a rhetoric question kind of way...

No, once you have entered the Rune, you cant leave, even if Shangalar gives you the option.
So before you go there, Witchhunter, be aware of that you are about to fight the probably hardest fight in the game.

Well, the fight is not so hard. It can be done in Chaper 3. But you must know what to do. Try a direct attack only if you want to see that big palm on your screen again. Otherwise, collect available information about Twisted Rune, figure out some plan, prepare yourself, save the game and try.
