Kangaxx quest

im at the end of the quest, gave him his body, beat him to a pulp, then he reforms as this floating brain, u know when he puts your people in prisons. ive put magic protaction scrolls on my 2 best fighters and there up there whackin away and his spells are useless. but i never hit him, i cant drop his health. how do you finish him off?

oh, 1 more thing, ill get my people back after hes dead, the ones that he made dissapear in prisons? right?

1) You need to be using +4 Weapons or better to even touch him in his demi-lich form.

2) No your people wont just pop up after the battle, they have been imprisoned, and will not come back unless you cast the spell 'freedom' in the area, freedom can be bought for a realatizly low price in chapter 6 from Ribals 'special wares' but It cannot be used by mages as it is a 9th lvl spell(Unless you have incresed the XP cap through cheats or ToB), so just use it from the quick slot

one more question: where do i take the Silver Horn of Valhalla to get it upgraded in Walkeems promanade?

take it to Maheer (SW of Adventure's Mart). Ask what he sells and than what special things he does. You need a diamond and 2000gp for the fist upgrade. For the second upgrade you need 5000gp and a beljuril gem (inside a chicken in Umar hills, force attack to kill the chickens and one has a gem inside).

There are always ways to "cheat" while fighting Kangaxx, of course.

For instance, you could use a Protection from Undead Scroll on one of your characters (preferably one that's able to hit Kangaxx in his demi-lich form

), and then Kangaxx won't even dare to fight back, let alone cast any Imprisonment spells. Just make sure the rest of your party doesn't join in with the fight, though.
