Am I leveling out to quickly?

Playing as a ranger cleric (dual, in a 5 man party). I already reached level 15, and I haven't even gotten to the asylum yet! Plan is to do all the side quest before that, but I have the strong impression I will be almost maxed out in levels before then. Am I right about this? That certainly would be a major letdown, not really any goals left then are there.

Well, if you think the whole point of the game is to reach maximum level, your missing quite a lot. But level 15 is quite adequate for the asylum, so why not head there soon. Youll be quite busy afterwards, but you should leave some side quests for when you get back.

Andrewas is right, theres more to leveling up in the game. But being powerful is pretty fun, and the Asylum will be pretty easy with your levels, so good luck. And you'll be in for some big and dark surprises, literatly.

I agree offcourse, but leveling up is just so much fun! seeing what you can do with those extra spells and just getting youre char better. It just isn't as fun knowing your char improve except the items and new tactics you find on thw way. BTW, I know you get new abbilities after a point, I have come to the drow city at one time. So I guess that stil be worth it, but my question was I quess if I would completely level out before I hit the underdark if I do all the sidequest before?

That's not the point, anything can be done at any level eventually (almost!). But I would't like to find out I'm maxed out when I hit the underdark.

Why not lookup baldurdash and get and XP cap remover. Or even better go buy ToB - if level 40 isnt enough then theres nothing else I can say.
