Gimme Info for my assasin i wanna know the best weapons and armor to use on him.

Hey everybody, its me i was just wondering and wanting some answers as to what the best setup for an assasin is(armor,main and offhand weapons can anyone help me out it would be much appreciated,Thanks,Jack.

But here you go
Main Hand
Short Sword of Backstabbing +3 (early in game)
Cutthroat +4 (Late in game)
Tasheron's Bow

Off Hand
Arbanes Sword +2

Armor
Shadow Armor +?
Black Dragon Scale Armor

Assassins rule, give em the human flesh, I think its better than dragons scale.

I like shadow dragon armour, celestial fury in main hand and cut throat +4 on off hand, equip your self with boots of speed, for those hasty get aways to the shadows (backstab galore if you can move quick enough, to get round corners inside rooms before enemies catch you. etc)

i used the Sword of the Roses for quite a while with my thief. In ToB, go for Angurvadal and Short Sword of Mask+5. just use the best long/short sword you can find, and the Shadow Dragon Scale. Until you get the Scale, though, just use the Armor of Deep Night +4 from the Adventurer's Mart.

Another good sword and available early in the game is Nammara+2 the loot from Crypt King.It has +4 to damage!
Also equip some str enhancing item.

You're forgetting the important stuff..
You need Rings of Gaxx (theres a way to get 2, especially for a thief), A Cloak Of Non-Detection (very, VERY important) and Boots of Speed, plus lots of invisibility potions.
The assassin's main ability is the 7x backstab modifier, so this equipment lets you go invisible, stay invisible and backstab to your heart's content. Use the boots to run around corners to hide, then backstab your enemies. If you ever get stuck into combat you can't run from, turn invisible and make your escape. Most of the time you'll be safe because your enemy can't detect you.
