Our resident rooboy is returning to Australia. He has been a barman in my local for about 6 months and is finally going home.

So, we organised a collection and got over £350 for him. Out of this we bought him an England one day cricket shirt with his name on the back. Now how much will they love that in Ballarat? on't he be popular.

BTW, he's got me supporting the North Melbourne Kangaroos. Now I know what it must be like to support Spurs!

Gee, remind me not to buy clothes in poor taste in London ever again - 350 quid and all you got in return was an England one day cricket shirt - you got ripped off bad there buddy.

Followers of North Melbourne would prefer to live in the past when their team was capable of winning premierships. Davros puts on best Soup Nazi voice, "No finals for you" .

He'll still be getting over £300 to take back to Oz. You can buy a lot of boomerangs with that!

I have to make the speech tonight so I surfed the net to find something interesting about Ballarat. The best I could do was that Steve Monenghetti was born there. Is all Australia this interesting?

Gee, Ballarat - talk about picking on the "highlights". Sounds like you already know more about the place than I do .
