before the final battle with Irenicus there are five tests... it seems each has a good and a evil choice... if you answer good choice you will get the blessed tear... if evil you get tainted tear... each tear the gives something different...

my question is... if im playing a good character, what will happen if i do the evil choice? will i get the tainted tear an t will have the effect on me or will the tainted tear not work on me because im good...?/

will the answers to these tests only have effect on what tear (and bonuses) you get... or wll it have other effects... i will be starting Throne Of bhaal after this and im afraid that if i answer the evil choices it will have negative effect later on in ToB... so is it safe to chose the evil option if youre good...??

also what are the suggestions for the neutral alligned characters...

i have a feeling im not liked on tghese boards... but please help here

Each test has a result for good and a result for evil (personally, I think there's only one or two tests that the evil is better for). However, if you're good or neutral or lawful evil and take the evil path in any test, you will become permanently neutral evil, and if you're a pally or ranger you'll fall.

it means if im any allignment other than chaotic evil and i chode the evil path in ANY test i become neutral evil??

Hello! According to my Strategy Guide, "if any of the (evil) choices were made with an 'Evil Reward,' your character will also loose one point of reputation, and have your alignment change over to evil."

...so I would guess that if you are already evil, you'll stay evil.
...but if you're either good or lawful, you'll become neutral evil.

you must download the Hell Baldurdash patches for it to work correctly. with the patches, good and neutral characters will become NE; CE and LE characters will stay the same, Pallys and Rangers will fall (they didn't always before) and it will give you a message. also, the Selfish test was using the Greed test answer, so always gave out the good bonus.
