O_O... now in all the days i've been in Europe i've never seen a SINGLE... Kentucky Fried Chicken resturaunt.. I ASUMED it was a chain that would only exist in the United stats (and possibly puerto rico) Until I saw THIS... That's right folks, thats not Chineese, thats not Japanese thats TAIWANEES... O_O... Well now that's a new one for me! I always assumed, well, ya know... They wouldn't know what Kentucky even WAS over there... but that's just great really! That means the colonel's gonna be rottin people's arteries world wide eh? Just curiouse, what kind of Fast food places do you have where you live, and do you think they exist in other countries? you might be suprised, you might even be more suprised at the cultural adaptations, Mc Donalds for example, has Shrimp available in canada, Corsaints in France, Beer in Germany, and Pizza in the US
I'm basically thinkin' a FAST-FOOD thread ya know? So what are you waiting for go HOG wild! or better yet... COW wild... you don't see much pork in hamburgers these days

No you just think they're prawns and you just think they're crossiants. But in reality they're something else...
The evil overlord Mc Donalds. Pizza hut is the best fast-food around IMO. [ 05-17-2002, 12:59 PM: Message edited by: Sigmar ] |

YES and you are right, i've been to holland and now that I think of it that place that was shaped like a windmill was out of this freaking WORLD! Sweedish meatballs, sphaghetti buffet, macaroni and cheese, all sorts of stuff with lard on it that tasted wonderfull and it was only a truck stop!

Heh, this thread cracked me up and brought and old childhood accident to mind. Just to show the profound effect that the "Colonel" had on me as a child. When I was young Colonel Sanders was still very much alive and we saw him in tv commercials all the time. When I was in the 4th grade I fell in the back yard and hit my head on the concrete planter. Knocked me out cold and gave me a concussion. I came too in the back seat of the car laying down with me head in my moms lap on the way to the hospital. I swore it was pitch black night, though my mom said it was the middle of day, and I also swore that Colonel Sanders was sitting in the back seat with us. . Heh heh..
