Planar Sphere

Help! I have looked all around this *?!2T/&#* sphere, and I still don't know how to get rid of Lavok or power the sphere. I'm about to just screw it and start over (Okay, start back at my last save before the sphere, but who's keeping track?)

kill lavok it takes quite abit of time before he dies he will clue you in on the sphere

to power the sphere you'll need the heart of a monster, go back the way you came in and you'll find a couple of em in some kind of a cave

get out and kill one of the big demons
then go to the room filed with golems and use the demons heart in the middle
be sure not to cheese-kill lavok with fake-talk as you won't get the stronghold if you do.

don't you have to kill him first ( well get him close to death anyway) or can you just turn the sphere on so it goes to the right plane to get the heart then go for him?

Yep. First get him to Near Death, and then go and find some hearts.

You can get the demon heart anytime after you enter the sphere because it has already left Athkatla when you open the door to the inner sphere. Save some time and grab it before you go fight Lavok.

where do I find this demon heart? and, do I just keep beating on lavok until my hard drive gives out?

Go out of the sphere the same way you went in, you will find yourself in some funny demon infested place, go find and kill a demon and take its heart [img]smile.gif[/img] Yeah?

When you go into the inner chambers, youll go to anothe plane. You have to fight your way through some halflings, and other monsters, and build a golem and all that..
Once you get into Lavoks room (after a number of fights...), you fight him until he has only 1 HP left... some spells which will help here a breach, and the Druid Spell "Insect Plaque"... other than these, just hack at him with your best weapons, healing your fighters if necesary.
Once he becomes unpossessed, you have to get the demon heart... so, go back out through all the doors, back to the begining, where you first entered and it will let you out... walk around till you get to fight a Ta'anari... its a fairly easy fight, if you do it right- dont use any strategy, spells, or anything... just try the fake talk technique (it wont work... but will hold it off for a little while), and hack and slash will get it eventually. Once you kill it, search it for its heart and get back to the sphere. Get to the lower levels, and after a few more fights you can put it on the engine and get back to Lavar. From there its easy [img]smile.gif[/img]
