When you delete all the cookies, you have to re-enter your user name and password before logging in successfully. Have you been given that sign-in screen? Do you have Windows automatically remembering your password for you? If so, then you might have to disengage that first. Let's see what others have to say about it.

Ok, so youve cleared your cookies... do you mean youve cleared your cookies themselves, or just the cookies DIRECTORY ??
If the later, then also clear the Temporary Internet Files, as many cookies have componentes in there. After youve COMPLETELY cleared both directories, come to IW, and login by clicking "login" and entering your loginname/password. If that still doesnt work, its most likely a problem either with IW, or with your computer. Seeing as you can login on a different computer, it being an IW problem can be eliminated. So, if clearing cookies AND tif doenst work, its almost definately a problem on your end. Try using a different browser... downloadable browsers include: Internet Explorer/ Netscape Navigator (both can be downloaded from there.) and opera. If that fails, you may have contracted a virus or worm of some kind. Run whatever virus protection you have... if you dont have any, I would recomend downloading McAfee or Norton Anti Virus If that doesnt work, then it is most probably your Operating System, or your Internet Service Provider. Your ISP will do nothing if you ring them, so dont bother. If you believe its your OS, take whatever measures you deem necesary to fix it. I would recomend formatting without backup as a last resort. Also think about what you have downloaded recently- any of that could have something to do with it. But out of all the reasons ive been through, the most likely is that your ISP has f*cked up on you. |
