Can someone tell me the name of Aragorn's sword. The one im talking about is the one that belonged to Isildur's father and that cut the ring from Sauron's hand.

I believe it was first called Narsil, but when it was reforged, Aragorn renamed it Anduril. Or the other way around, not sure. Can't remember what those names mean too, sorry.

you must be talking about the sword that was broken and hastily reglued.narsil,then anduril.

I was quite distraught that the movie left out the reforging, oh well, other than that I loved the movie, Anduril forever, yay

no narsil was remade while aragorn was in rivendell.
ummm...we've all read lord of the rings(some of us have read even more)but has anyone read a satire called bored of the rings?i think it was written in the late sixties.funny stuff.

Saw a copy of it on sale recently - thought it was some modern cash-in on the movie. If it was done in the sixties I think Ill go get it. I might keep me occupied while my brother struggles through Fellowship of the Ring.
