On dec 27, 2001 I was at my favorite computer game store and
found out a new CRPG called Morrowind was soon to be released. So I reserved a collecters edition and now I hope that Ironworks will put it on the boards when it is released ! It looks to be a game similar to Baldurs Gate and BGII made for single or multi-players. they said that it comes with and Expansion kit so you can build new areas and adventures and that it was very easy to use and had no limit to what or where you take the game. I went out and had a 200Mhz pentium computer built for me W/3D and 60 megs of hard drive just so I could play this and other 3D RPG Games so I'm really hopeing it will be an Ironworks Quality game. Thanks,The Crimsom Blade

I'm all for a Morrowind forum! I'm a TES fan from way back; played both Arena (1993-94) and Daggerfall (1996). Redguard was different (1998) but still interesting.
Just to clear up some misconceptions, though: TES:Morrowind is not going to be ANYTHING like BG or BGII. You are a solo character, the engine is 1st-person perspective, and it is not based on AD&D or the Forgotten Realms universe (Faerun). The campaign takes place in Tamriel, an empire of many vast cultures and rather fractious relations between them. The current game is to be set in the province of Morrowind, home of the Dark Elves (not Drow, guys...these elves are "sneaky", but not truly evil). Here's hoping that it will be released soon! Morrowind AND Neverwinter released in the same year! ![]() Cheers,

What Sazerac said: Morrowind will be nothing like the Infinity engine series. Here's a link to their website, which gives an excellent flavor of the game: http://www.elderscrolls.com/main.htm

I never got to play Arena much since I wasn't really that old when it came out, but I enjoyed Daggerfall a lot(I slaughtered all the civilians and then killed and plundered the corpses of the guards to get all the good Daedric items
![]() I'm really looking forward to Morrowind! ![]() |

Morrowind should be really cool, and I'd be surprised if Z didn't open up a forum AND a section of the site to it.
