everyone must have heard of Resident Evil and Alone in the Dark. These games belong to a relatively new genre called: Survival Horror. now I am thinking, what if we make one of those games in Ravenloft? instead of shotguns vs mutant creatures, we take the players back into medievil and set the stage in some dark evil demiplane, fireballs vs horror!
what you think? :-D maybe NWN with some power up programs can achieve the similar effect. however, AD&D combat system is not suitable for survival horror. classic Resident Evil is still a better choice |
