ach! well, we fially got the multi started, got a few minutes into the game, and then... it kept kicking me out. i should also mention i have a 56k modem... does anybody here know how to help? please?

Hi Seph! A 56k modem should be fine, alot of us play with one. Are you playing IP games or on a game server like GameSpy?

yes, we're using IP. we're trying out gamespy though, but one of the participants cant really dl it...

I had the same problem trying to stay connected to IP games. Ended up having much better luck going through GameSpy. Would still get dropped occasionally, or lose the host or another player. But at least when that happened you could rejoin the game. Or if you had the game locked, the players can come back to the lobby and get you.
