A herd of buffalo can move only as fast as the slowest buffalo, and when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular culling of the weakest members.
In much the same way the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers. ------------------ Avast There mates..make yer way here and drop yer anchor. We'll swap some lies and have a Black Jack o' ale. I knew there had to be good reasons to drink beer.

I drink Miller Genuine Draft, Moosehead, or Yuengling. I do get much more philosophical when drunk. I can also string some good obscenities together.

I been drinking beer for some time now - perhaps since before you were born?? It was my 65th birthday today. I think everyone should have something to believe in, so I think I believe I'll have a beer!! I don't get fancy with this stuff as who knows what they are drinking after a couple anyway?? Plain old BUD suits me fine. No need to spend big bucks on stuff like some of those German beers, STELLA ARTOIS, etc. - I only have to impress myself!!!
