After I killed Bohdi i got her heart but now I'm in Suldanesslar and haven't used it yet do I need it?

It's used for a quest which only some characters will receive... if you're already on chapter 7 and haven't used it yet, you won't. It's just dead weight now (or a chew toy for your familiar, if you have one).

Or a nice little remembrance token to put on your keychain (you did swear to have her black heart on a pike, after all).....or if you bought the Slingshot+2 from Pimpus Maximus in the Redlight District, you can load the Heart into it and fire it in Irenicus's face--100% casting failure.
