I have a few questions:
How old is this board and the Ironworks website is?
How many of the original members still here?
Any "legends" that have left or disappeared?
Do the original member think the board has gotten better as more members have joined or do you miss "The good old day"?

Ziroc can probably fill you in better, but I think "The Ironworks" dates back to the days of the dial-up BBS, (in other words "Pre-World Wide Web"...can you say "Precambrian?" )

We have a FANTASTIC legacy here!

Saz wis right, Before the internet was, Ironworks was.. In 1994, March I launched the website.. it wasn't on the tgeweb.com domain, but my friends server.. something like www.blabla.com/~ziroc/blaba.. And launched the Ironworks Forum in 1998 (Or when BG1 came out) 98 right? I had one of those crappy forums (before the blue one) kinda like the old Interplay forums.. then launched the Bigblue in 99.

I think it's gotten better--met SO many great people! (I mean that!)

I remember the Big Blue too! This place is the wonderworks of the internet!

So many great people, it feels like a family.

PS: Good question Row Firecam, I was wondering a while ago too.

When I logged on for the first time, there was no BGII, No IceWind Dale, and the only two people that I know of, that is still around is Rikard and Ertai. Another, Azreal, is lurking around the corner as well, though he doesn't post much. I believe Sazerac is also an ancient. These are the only ones left.
Know your Ancients...

Azreal
Rikard
Ertai
Sazerac
Larry

All have approximately one year with the board.

In that case, I'm an Antedeluvian, since I'm a Wizardry 1: Proving Grounds veteran!

I'm not sure I qualify for "veteran" status on the Ironworks board, though...does it really matter, anyway?

Heaps of people have been here for around about 6 months, arrived in October-November-December, and I believe the board became a lot more lively after that period.

I first visited in dec, but I haven't been around much lately, so knowone would know me most likely. Ertai and Rikard have been here for ages, and I saw Azreal post a few days ago too, so he is still around. And of course, Larry and Sazerac.

I first came here in Sept of 2000. I was under a different name then. It was Kors_Bloodaxe I only posted 5 times.
