Yesterday we have a false alarm and after spending 2 to 3 hours at the hospital, went home empty handed.  Initially, induction was going to start early next week but that my be postponed by the pending nurses strike here in the Twin Cities.  At worst she will be induced in a week and two days.However, that may be mute (this is being writen with a hopeful tone) since tonight every time she does something she starts having contractions. Good news right? Well not exactly, she wants to stave off labor until her Doctor gets back from vacation (which will be tomorrow). She is very comfortable around her OB/GYN and would like that added peace of mind while going through labor (who can blame her).  There you have the convoluted state of affairs we are in. Why can't things just be simple?  ------------------

Boy, I bet you never thought having a baby could get this complicated. I can sympathize with you wife for wanting her doctor there. Hope it all goes well. Please keep us posted, we care. Just even make a baby post. But keep us informed. No offense but every day I keep hoping that I won't see you, figuring that would mean that you are at the hospital.
