Go to the 'main' page and at the top you'll see the 'Beta tesing Chat Here' . Check it out, it's KINDA ok, but has bugs.. and doesn't have many features...

Ziroc, the chat was...interesting, to say the least!
I'll be emailing you with some feedback. The refresh rate for one was driving me crazy. Plus security, anyone can log on as anyone - might need to have a look at that. Just comments ------------------

Agree with Memnoch's comments after a short test - Rikard drove us all nuts within a matter of seconds by logging on as other people, and 250 hasn't even seen it yet (j/k)
Also as Melusine said, our IPs are visible which is another security issue. Thanks for putting up a Beta though - a fun thing to test which will probably prove very popular once the wrinkles have been ironed out. if you get the bugs straighten out, will there be a schedule for chat?
to add: Ok I tried it out, here's what I hope to see: the time that someone had signed out Or have something similar to Yahoo chat (I'm spoiled by them) password to avoid duplicate problems (what If one signed in using someone else's name?) refresh time schedule is a good idea hmmmm... having trouble posting pics... ------------------  [This message has been edited by adam warlock (edited 04-08-2001).] |
