Hey Mordrick that's not fair! Now give us your real three words
![]() I can't possibly think of three words that would sum me up....but I'll try, maybe with some elaboration ![]() - Pensive (I think and worry and think so much I'm afraid sometimes that my head will explode) - Interested? (can't find the word I'm looking for but I mean that I've always been more concerned about how other people are doing than about how I am doing) - Changeable? (again, can't find the word I'm looking for -sorry, just too lazy too look it up- but I mean that I can be LMAO the one day and have fun and make jokes and sit in my room the next day staring at nothing and thinking) ------------------ Melusine ![]() Your voice is ambrosia |

Melusine,
may I offer assistance ? I think the perfect word to sum up what you described as "interested" would be "caring", and for "changeable" maybe "moody" , but then again maybe not, as "moody" carries too much of a negative connotation. About me ? I will borrow "pensive" in turn. -pensive/contemplative -timid/insecure -creative? Well, I am not sure about the last one, maybe you could help me, Melusine, as I know a German expression, "phantasievoll" that fits perfectly, while being creative, for me, means not only thinking up things, but also realizing/making them, or at least being energetic about it and that latter part is my weak point as I am also terribly lazy. Maybe "inventive" ? ------------------ So long ! Ramon, thanks!!
Normally, I'm like a walking thesaurus and my boyfriend keeps bothering me when writing essays! However I haven't been my normal self lately and tonight my head feels like a sieve... I thought of moody but dismissed it for the reason you described...maybe inconstant? Caring also had to many other connotations so I just translated a Dutch word. I know what you mean about phantasievoll (God it's so wonderful to think german again! contrary to most people I love the language and will grab any chance to speak it...unfortunately I don't see my German family too often) but I can't think of a good translation... inventive sounds too technical whereas phantasievoll has more to with the depths of the mind... How about imaginative? I think it's more of an exact translation BTW your description of yourself would also fit perfectly on me! ------------------ Melusine ![]() Your voice is ambrosia [This message has been edited by Melusine (edited 03-11-2001).] |
