Fable - unable to save?

Hi all, I may be being dense but I just got Fable - the lost chapters for pc today and under options on the in game menu there is no World save option as listed in the manual. Does it only come up later? I've completed the first quest and arrived at the guildhouse and it's still not there, I can only save my hero stats. Good thing the autosave is working, but I'd like to be able to choose when and where I save. Any ideas? Thanks, Jelly x

That probably means you're in the middle of a quest. You have to play through until you finish that quest before you can world save. Until then you have to Hero Save and restart the quest when you load the game.

It's a good way to make extra cash and levels, if a little abusive.

There was one quest I couldn't beat, I kept getting killed. But on the way there was a fire stone. I think I got 10 of it before I got high enough to finish the quest.

Easy money? Kill all homeowners and reap the benefits! So what if it's evil? Also, that exploit Luvian was talking about, also works if you're too lazy to hunt down all the secret keys .

Hi just thought I'd pop back and say thanks, now i'm further into the game, the save feature is fine, don't know why it's not there during the apprenticeship. So the hero stats save is just there so you can go around killing/robbing getting loads of dosh? then presumably you can load those stats in later without anyone suspecting you're a baddie? Not sure I can handle that, am already losing sleep over having shot a sparrow with my little arrow at the guild!!
