Oh, after all that work, it's back to the drawing board. This is for the first Star Ocean game and if anyone has played it, any tips and/or advice would be welcome concerning the last battle.
Also spoilers ahead. * * * * * * * * * * Normally I don't ask for helps when it comes to game battles, but I really am not up to going back through every dungeon labyrinth the game has to prepare my characters better. I made my party of the original three characters, Fayt, Cliff, and Nel. They're all at 60th level but it seems not to be enough to bring down Luther. In one of my attempts at his second form, I was able to keep him off his feet with Acrobat Locust and Air Raid for a good two minutes, caused probably about 300k+ while on Berserk, but he uses one attack when they're all at full health and anihilates everyone, damn MP kills Also, any recommendations on different party members, inventions and such would also be appreciated. |

Switch Cliff with someone else. Cliff has a terrible mp. I'm suprise you have used Cliff up to that point. I prefer using Fayt , Albel and Nel while I control Nel. You are doing just fine. The attack Luther using is probably Insanity Prelude. When you see he is about to do that. Run your character away as far as possible to the edge of the screen and pray that your character that you control can survive that attack. Heal immediately and repeat and repeat.

Thanks Kakero, you hit the nail on the head telling me to get completely out of the way of that attack. He still gave me a beating though, just barely beat him with a last attack with no reviving items left with Cliff and Nel down. Thanks again.
Oh, btw, I don't know if this is mentioned in anywhere, but are Maria and Fayt related? It says in the game she was adopted and they do look alike. [ 01-01-2005, 04:05 AM: Message edited by: Gangrell ] |
