Well, anybody get it yet? I still can't get it till the summer, but all IWers who have it do share and give their server name so IW can play together. It looks really good, and Blizzard was unprepared for the massive amounts of people buying it, here is some info.

It seems like Blizzard is experiencing a great launch, and perhaps too great ! They have reported high loads on many server, and thus published a list of the 'recommended' servers for better performance. I would recommend that new players try out these servers first, since I saw what happens on the other ones =) Here's a quote from Caydiem :

Our launch has been absolutely incredible! We're seeing some high load on the eastern servers for World of Warcraft, however, and to that end we're giving you folks a Recommended Server List in order to usher people to the servers with lower population. Please feel free to share this with your fanbase:

Recommended Servers

PvP (Pacific)
Tichondrius
Ner'zhul
Kil'Jaeden
Frostwolf
Blackrock

PvE (Pacific)
Uther
Proudmoore
Lightbringer
Kilrogg
Hyjal
Cenarius

RP (Pacific)
Silver Hand

PvP (Mountain)
Kel'Thuzad
Deathwing

PvE (Mountain)
Icecrown
Doomhammer

They should not experience significant lag on these servers regardless of their North American location, and none of these servers currently have queues.

Thank you all for your participation and continued support!

How much does the collector edition sell for?

Did they say what pet you get with it?

I played it most of the day yesterday, its a great game so far. I went to central time zone, server is...Hell-something or other. I have a mage named Thuvia so far. There is a TON of people playing so you'll have to be patient in the noob areas gaining exp. Once everyone levels up a bit people will be more dispersed.

You are lucky! It isn't out in Britain yet is it? I could always dl it, and then buy the game later, but who knows.

It isn't out in the UK til February. And dling it would be pointless as it requires online account to cd tying. Mine came earlier today but noone was in to pick it up. *SIGH*

Tomorrow it is getting dropped at my mum's work so that I can get it when she gets home.

The collectors edition is going to run anywhere from $100-$140 I'm thinking (remembering the maerican price) and the pets you get are a zergling, panda and mini diablo.

Collectors set me back $80, $20 P&p. Then I got a call yesterday for £20 import tax. Cost me a bomb it seems.

Collectors edition also gives you a month free of playing or something like that.
