Quite possibly the greatest arcade-style driving game ever?
It certainly blows Burnout 2 away, out of the water, completely annihalated! My thumb hurts from playing it so much all night! Crash mode is awesome! Though I do wish I control the camera during the crash replay.

Oh! I rented this tonight, and WOW! I totally LOVE this game!! It takes a LOT from Need For Speed Underground btw, but who cares! Did you see the NFS: Underground 2 Demo? cool!
PS: Are there any cops in this game? I think there are... ?? |

Man, it is gaming greatness! The sense of speed in the races! The thrill of battling for a takedown and then winning- making your opponent crash big time!
The crash campaign is the best. My Bro and I unlocked all crash vehicles over the weekend. The City Bus rules supreme! ![]() All this and I havent even played online yet! Oh, BTW you may find the single track Demo in magazines and, if your lucky and they have any left, at a Gamestop. The Demo doesn't have the crash game though and that's nearly a whole other game unto itself!

Oh my god I love this game! Only TWO things would have made it the best arcade racing game EVER:
1. COPS! 2. Stunts -- BIG ramps and huge looping corkscrews (not corkscrew ramps) and other cool stuff. And okay, 3= a track designer! Oh crap.. I'd be better than SEX! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The Indy car is a pain to control at first, but I love the crashing for points games.. the X4 is my best friend. lol! PS: I rented "SRS" or something--a clone of NFS Underground I guess. HORRID. Cars all drove crappy, roads looked like skating rinks, and switching gears sounded like someone hitting a chain link fence with a steel pipe!!! SERIOUSLY. Whoever made that game didn't 'get' the underground scene or even try. VERY unpolished. But Burnout 3 IS VERY polished, and you can tell, which makes this one of my most favorite arcade racers since NFS Hot Pursuit! |
