So, I'm playing a darkside game, great fun and all that, but I wonder if any of the NPCs who are do-gooders will ever come over to the dark with me? I tire of some of their color commentary of my actions.

Both of the darkside NPCs (Canderous and HK47) are ranged fighters and I was hoping to get another Jedi on the darside with me, or at least the Wookie.

So do any of the NPC's alignment change? Please spoil me, I haven't finished the game yet, my other game, on the lightside, I have gotten 3 star maps and in this game I have two. So if the way to turn some of these folks darkk is ahead let me know.

Only Bastila will remain as a dark Jedi if you choose the dark side path. Some of them you will have to kill off, mainly the two other jedi companions. Not sure about Carth and Mission/Zaaba though.

The dark side is a lonely path walked by the damned.

Ah, but it sure is fun! Thanks for the info!

Seeing as how the Woookie has an oath to me, and doesnt critisize my every dark move I think it is unlikely he will turn agianst me. It is reassuring that I will have at least one Jedi to enjoy the darkside with me and I look forward to killing those other two weak fools.

Yes, the Woookie will stay. I really liked playing evil in this game. Even more than playing good. You'll see when you get farther, there is a room for an evil PC in this game, for once.

When KOTOR II comes out apparently your actions will start to change the alignments of your NPC's

Can't wait for that.

If your REALLY Evil you can have some fun with Zaalabar later on!

Yes!

Did I say I love this game? I've often considered replaying the game another time just to see the story again.

I love being evil in this game. I was a little bit shocked at how far you could take Zaalabar but it was some good evil rping that you really don't get in some of todays games.

Most of todays games are catered to the good Rper but KOTOR renewed my faith for a second that there can be an evil RP.

Oh, here's an advice to anyone planing on going evil in this game. Get the mind control skill, it's worth it.

The reasons why I have never choosen the darkside path in KoTOR is because:

1. Not "bad" enough. If I wanted to be a dark jedi, I rather be EVIL. Just plain EVIL.

2. Companion. No darkside jedi companion except Bastila and she sucked as a dark jedi.

3. Cool equipments. Some of the best/cool equipments are for light side Jedi only.

4. Not my style. Even if it is just for "roleplay" only, I couldn't force myself for rob candy from a kid, so to speak.

Hopefully, KoTOR II will offset some of the "disadvantages" of being a dark Jedi and I will consider choosing the path of the darkside, just for once.

Some of the rumors I've heard are the some NPCs are alignment specific (like BG2) so you will not get to use some NPCS unless your either evil or good. Gives a better reply value to the game.
