This was one of the first games that really felt like a movie. (It's kinda a sidescrolling game, but with real 3D and cool cut scenes. It came out in 1991 I believe, and Interplay Published it in the USA.

I remember it, but it's called 'Another World' over here. It's sequel 'Flashback' was really good as well.

Yeah, I remember that game. It was tough and the save points are few and far between. Never had the chance to even finish 50% of it before I gave up after countless retries. Quite a nice game but at the same time, frustrating as well.

Most abandonware sites does carry this game. Feel free to download and give it a try if you are patient enough.

If you too lazy to do a search, try this site. They have extensive collection of old games.

Yep! That was also awesome. I still have it, and ALL my old and new game boxes, way back to the Infocom days. Near mint too!

Remember that game called "Fade to Black" ? It was also like those, and DSI Did it too I think. Awesome adventure games... Ah I wish they still made them--adventure games that is.

Xen, here is a rundown on the game:

Check Ebay, I just did a search, and you can buy it for $6.00!

yeah, another world is great. however, flashback has nothing to do with it. another's world's sequel is heart of the alien. the main prob with it is that it's only available on sega cd.

I've still got the original floppy for the Amiga!

It's got to be one of my all time favourites.

Yeah, I have the box and floppies too

Another game--racing--was called "Stunts". It was like that Atari Arcade game "Hard Drivn'" and you could make tracks and race them... A NEW game coming out of France called "Trackmania" is a lot like it!
